The Drums Of War

Out came the beats,

Beats that were so familiar to the town.

But for any boy of age to go into war,

It was an evil sound.

The sound of pain,

The sound of depression,

And the sound of death.

When you are young, you dream of war, to fight alongside your friends and to have a glorious victory.

But when the time comes, you are not prepared.

You run to your mother.

Hugging her so hard, pushing your head into...

When the sun rises in the morning,
It brings sunlight, and heat for all.
It allows the plants to grow,

A few days ago we went to The Castine Cemetery. Step one of our project was to find a gravestone with an epitaph. The one I chose might be the captain of the Bowden’s stone.
