Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners! First place went to Phoebe, second place to Brandon, and runner up to Morgan. The regional Spelling Bee will be held at the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School on Tuesday January 30th. Contestants should arrive by 6:15.

MMA is hosting a Pee Wee Basketball Round Robin Event. Castine’s Pee Wee Basketball program was unable to happen this year since we were unable to find a volunteer coach. If there are any interested parents or individuals who would to participate in the following please let me know.
Saturday & Sunday, February 11th & 12th at the MMA Fieldhouse. Required: Boys team and/or Girls team; ages 3rd -6th grade students. There will be at least 3 games for each team and meal is supplied to coach and players.
The cost of this is $100 per team. Please let me know if we can any interest. I am checking with the REC committee about the cost being paid from their budget account. Maybe a sign up sheet can be located there or I can do it here, just let me know. Thanks for your help with this.
