Notes

Supplies
2006-2007
Grades 6-8: Please DO NOT BRING
3-ring binders or spiral-bound notebooks or any notebooks or notebook
paper, with the
exception of the black and white composition
books used for tabbing in science, which are optional but not
required. ("The 100 page Meade composition books are usually on
sale at Rite Aid for 3 for a dollar. Three is all the kids need for the
year in science. I supply notebooks, but the Mead 100 pages on
sale are much better quality." --Mr. McWeeny) Also, please DO NOT
BRING pencil
boxes--pencil bags are
much better, as they take up less space. You are welcome to bring
pencils (we always run short of pencils), colored pencils, pencil
sharpeners,
scissors, glue sticks, and markers, though none of these are
necessary--but,
again, please have a zippered bag, not a box, to keep them in.
--Mr. McWeeny and Mr. Stillwell.
Grade 4-5: Each student
should bring a supply of #2 pencils, a one subject notebook for
writing, markers and highlighters. Please choose your own
assignment book for keeping track of your homework. --Mrs. McFadden
Kindergarten- First Grade:
"I am
looking forward to the upcoming school year, and ever so anxious
to greet my newest and youngest students in Kindergarten. I am equally
thrilled to pick up again with the grade one, right where we left off
in June. I have missed them so. We have a lot to look
forward to. There are no specific school supplies your child will need
in my classroom. My room is equipped with enough glue sticks and
“honey” crayons to last through the year. I do,
however, prefer that the children wear indoor shoes once they arrive at
school. It helps to protect our wooden floors and certainly keeps
the dust and dirt to a minimum. (We spend a lot of time on the
floor!) Slippers are suitable. Parents will receive a copy of our
daily schedule during the first week of school. Enjoy the
remainder of these summer days with your children. I am sure to
hear all about their summertime adventures! --Mrs. Lameyer
